From new buyers to new technology, a lot of good change is underway for the world of real estate in 2016. Throughout this coming new year Reozom will be rolling out new technologies built to empower both buyers and sellers. We are currently initiating our own evolution in order to continue toward our main mission: make all aspects of real estate easier, faster and more affordable for the people.
First off, let’s start with what Reozom is all about, the people. It’s looking like “2016 will continue to be a buyer’s market” (inman.com). Many young buyers are entering the real estate market for the first time and they are coming in hot. In fact, “Gen Y comprises the largest share of home buyers at 32 percent, which is larger than all baby boomers combined” (realtor.org). Not to mention that “Gen Y has the largest share of first-time buyers at 68 percent” (realtor.org).
These particular buyers depend on technology to get them through the day. Why wouldn’t they rely on it while buying a home, too? The reality is, they already do. Actually, everyone does. “Among all generations of home buyers, the first step in the home buying process is looking online for properties for sale” (realtor.org).
Once a buyer finds a home online, the desire to see it in person is immediate. One of Reozom’s most popular features allows buyers to directly schedule a showing instantly on the site. This ability essentially eliminates the back and forth that scheduling typically entails.
We expect that one of our coming features will be another favorite for buyers and sellers alike. This feature is a messaging system that will be similar to the one used today on Facebook, allowing Reozom users to interact the way they like to.
Most importantly, catering to these new buyers ultimately supports sellers who list on Reozom. Many of our upcoming features will help home buyers and sellers have a stronger connection than they have ever had before.
In 2016, Reozom is working relentlessly to enable new technology that will forever change the way people sell and buy homes. Reozom has monumental plans in place to give users the ability to make and receive offers directly on the site. Ultimately, Reozom is striving to be at the forefront of transforming the home buying and selling transaction experience in its entirety.
Technology also empowers more direct sales to take place. Roughly half of Reozom’s sales this past month were direct sales, meaning the buyer did not use a real estate agent. We aim to use technology to make the real estate process as simple and streamlined as possible, so buyers will feel more confident and competent on their own. This will result in savings upon savings for many homeowners.
Above everything else, Reozom’s technology saves a lot of invaluable time. Through Reozom, a house can be listed in 30 minutes or less. All required documents are signed within that time and listings are automatically submitted to the MLS, Zillow, Trulia and Realtor once the listing is live on Reozom. The listing process can take days, even weeks, when using other real estate services.
Overall, Reozom is using powerful and innovative technology to take the real estate industry by storm. Going into the new year, our inspiration to innovate remains the same: use technology to make people’s lives easier and richer.
